Welcome!
I’m Sam, an Antenatal Teacher, Doula, Hypnobirthing Instructor and Founder of The Perinatal Academy. I left a 20 year corporate career to retrain in 2021 and have been passionate about helping others do the same ever since!
Myself and my amazing team are proud to train & mentor Doulas, Antenatal Teachers and Hypnobirthing Instructors with depth, humanity, and support that continues long after your course ends.
If you are reading this then we know you already have the heart to do this work! It is our job to give you the knowledge and help you hone your skills as you pursue a life that actually fulfils you and genuinely fits around family life, with long term support to help you birth, grow and flourish in your own business.
Every educator here is an experienced birth worker, Doulas, Infant Feeding Specialists, Independent Midwives, Antenatal Teachers who are all actively working with families. We are all obsessed with birth honestly and love what we do, which shines through in what we offer here.
We’re all different and wouldn’t have it any other way. You won’t get one “right way” to practise. You’ll get depth, reflection and tools to build your own approach, with lots of different experiences and opinions to build from.
